I cannot believe my last post was on February 2015.  That just shows how much time I have invested in charity work.  I had barely anytime to relax and just enjoy life.  On October 18, 2017, we left the oncologist office in Fair Oaks.  The young doctor told my husband that he has stage 4 cancer that was metastasis which means that the cancer is now in his blood stream so there is no cure for him but rather treat the cancer to control it, so we can extend his life.

It was a shock since he did not have any health complaints. The only thing that was odd was he was tired and napped a lot, but he did not have pain or odd things.  If it wasn’t for his arm hurting like he sprained the muscle, we would not know that it was cancer.   It has been a tough journey so far trying to find the right doctor and right treatment for him. Right now, he is doing treatment at Sibley Memorial which is part of the John Hopkins network.  We hope to get positive results.
